Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year at a school site in Talladega, AL. This on-site contract role offers a dedicated professional the opportunity to provide direct speech and language services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The position entails managing a caseload of 30-35 students initially, with potential growth up to 70 students in the upcoming year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals.
- Conduct IEP meetings and collaborate closely with staff members and parents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and evaluations.
- Participate actively in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Engage fully in an on-site role; virtual service delivery is not an option for this position.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within a school environment with school-aged students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly for collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize a growing caseload effectively.
- Commitment to providing specialized speech-language services on-site.
Location: Talladega, AL
This position begins with the 2026/2027 school year and requires full-time availability, 40 hours per week. Interviews are beginning immediately in anticipation of the next school year.
