Manager, ServiceNow SRE Engineer
- Outcome-Driven Accountability: Owns and drives cost-effective solutions for platform operations, focusing on stability, resilience, and automated optimizations to reduce maintenance costs and meet business KPIs.
- Technical Leadership and Advocacy: Champions modern SRE practices, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational standards. Responsible for requirement analysis, automation, integration, monitoring, and ongoing support.
- Engineering Craftsmanship: Hands-on contributor who maintains system integrity, solves complex problems through automation and predictive analytics, engineers modern solutions, and drives operational excellence.
- Customer-Centric Engineering: Develop lean engineering solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation to solve customer needs. Engage with customers and product teams to deliver the right solution for the product in the right way at the right time, quickly responds to incidents, and engages with stakeholders to deliver timely operational fixes.

- Advanced Technical Proficiency: Possess deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, SRE, Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD, Observability, deployment techniques like Blue-Green, Canary to minimize down-time and enable A/B testing approaches, optimizing automation and supporting high-quality outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline. Experience is the most relevant factor.
- 6+ years proven experience with ServiceNow administration, ServiceNow analytics and reporting, and infrastructure management (including SSO, certificates, MID Server, PowerShell, and JavaScript), with a strong focus on ensuring platform reliability by monitoring incidents and health metrics, resolving issues through logs, and leveraging best practices in change, release, and automation to improve operational and platform efficiency.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and administering monitoring solutions (Dynatrace, ServiceNow Instance Observer, Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hosting highly available cloud native applications, using auto-scaling, self-resilient architectures, across various cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS and GCP.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues in production environment, with high accuracy, conducting root cause analysis, providing preventive measures based on RCA on multiple cloud providers, including ServiceNow.
- 3+ years of experience in defining SLO and SLI for cloud native applications, measuring, reporting and alerting using custom scripts or monitoring solutions.
- 1+ years of experience with AI/ML, GenAI, and specifically AIOps.
- Prior experience with cloud providers security practices, networking, cloud administration, database technologies and maintenance, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Prior software engineering experience with the understanding of Business Context Diagrams (BCD), sequence/activity/state/entity relationship/data flow diagrams, OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, and code instrumentations.
- Prior experience using methodologies & tools such as XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, CI/CD, SRE, ADO, GitHub, SonarQube, etc. to deliver high-quality products rapidly.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in a major module such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, or APM.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107700 to $221200 You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
