Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one in Alabama)
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language services to school-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families in developing IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop plans, and track student progress
  • Serve as an onsite resource and leader for communication needs
  • Adapt approaches to diverse caseloads and school practices
