Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Project Engineer Intern. In this role, you will focus on supporting the project engineering team and the manufacturing team. This position will cross boundaries between program and the manufacturing site, to ensure the successful manufacturing on NGI. This position will also interact with the electrical and mechanical support equipment teams
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Ability to develop and execute project plans
Ability to develop and present power point presentations
Ability to travel to travel one day a week to our manufacturing site
Enjoys problem solving and developing solutions that take into account schedule and cost
Desired Skills:
Ability to obtain secret clearance
Interested in manufacturing or have manufacturing experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
