Northgate Health & Rehab is seeking a dependable and energetic Dietary Aide (Float/Flex) to join our dietary services team. This flexible position is ideal for someone looking for a variety of shifts while helping ensure our residents receive nutritious meals and excellent service every day.

As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in supporting resident satisfaction, meal service, and the overall dining experience within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service
• Set up and serve meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver trays and assist residents during meal service as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Follow food safety and infection control procedures
• Assist with stocking supplies and organizing kitchen areas
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing teams, and residents

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Commitment to providing excellent service to residents
