Delivery Driver & Facility Support

General Requirements:

• Understand dealership procedures and best practices, ability to implement processes and improvement initiates.
• Knows Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiar with GPS systems and online map lookups, adequate product knowledge.
• Must have a valid drivers license in good standing.
• Must be willing to work longer hours as required to meet customer demands.
• Able to Lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. plus work outdoors and indoors in all weather.

Target Responsibilities:

• Assist keeping building clean and orderly. Inclusive of interior and exterior. This includes lawn care and janitorial tasks.
• Deliver all the goods that are assigned and map out the fastest route to the desired destination.
• Make entries regarding the goods that they are delivering.
• Drive safely at all times and have to conduct inspections about their truck, whether it is in good condition, and if need be, they should also be able to repair it.
• Know all the roads of the city they are working in.
• Know all the paperwork, like receipts, that are required and have to issue them to the customers.
• Stay in touch with their supervisor and inform them if there are any delays.
• Drive and operate equipment safely at all costs.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

• Begin each workday with a positive attitude by encouraging each technician to meet their daily goals and develop a sense of “team” in the parts department and across other departments.
• Continually seek technical and product knowledge, staying abreast of new developments.

Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with supervisor to review ideas to improve communication with the respective departments.

Annual Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with supervisor for goals for the coming year.
• Maintain proper license to be a driver.
