We are seeking a Clinic Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Overview: The primary function is to assist in a clinical setting. You must be able to obtain accurate information and input the data into the electronic medical record. Applicant must be able to do a manual blood pressure, and draw blood.
- Communication: effectively communicate with patients, family members, physicians, and all staff members.
- Computer Skills: must be able to utilize computer skills to access medical and office software programs and internet based systems.
- General Office Skills: excellent organizational skills, moderate typing skills, general office skills such as being able to answer the phones, faxing documents, use a copier.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all clinical duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff and physician
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Pays attention to detail
- Manual Blood pressures
- Blood draws

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the medical office setting as a medical assistant.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dress and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Education:
Must have a high school education or equivalent. Also, at least two years’ experience in the medical field.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time; must have adequate dexterity for computer keyboarding, and adequate vision and hearing to operate a computer and telephone system efficiently. You must be able to recognize correct medical and surgical terminology.
Personal:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate proper telephone etiquette; must possess a high degree of judgement and discretionary skills. You must be able to work cooperatively with all staff members.
