The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, leasing, financial performance, and tenant relations of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. This role ensures properties are well-maintained, financially successful, compliant with regulations, and provide a positive experience for tenants and owners.
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Supervise contractors, vendors, and on-site staff.
- Serve as the primary contact for tenants and residents.
- Address tenant concerns, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly.
- Manage lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Enforce lease terms and community policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of property management experience.
- Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
- Experience supervising staff and vendors.
- Institute of Real Estate Management Certified Property Manager (CPM)
- National Apartment Association Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)
- Real Estate License (where required by state law)
- Property management software proficiency (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, MRI, etc.)
- Budgeting and financial analysis
- Customer service and conflict resolution
- Leadership and team management
