Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant to support our daily administrative and logistical operations in our Decatur, AL office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of office work and local errands, and who thrives in a dynamic, service-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform local errands, including visits to the post office and bank
- Pick up and drop off IT equipment to clients
- Receive, inspect, and check in incoming equipment shipments
- Update and maintain inventory records in our internal database
- Follow up with customers on recently closed support issues to ensure satisfaction
- Provide general clerical support in the office
- Contact clients to set appointments
- Assist the Operations Manager with administrative tasks
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Valid drivers license
- Must pass a background check
- Onsite role based in Decatur, AL
- Flexible part-time schedule (2025 hours per week)
