Irrigation Service Technician

Location: Daphne, AL
Pay: $18–$24/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time
Benefits: Start Day 1

We’re hiring an experienced Irrigation Service Technician in Daphne, AL .

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows irrigation systems, enjoys troubleshooting, and wants steady full-time work with a growing local team.

You’ll diagnose, repair, adjust, and maintain residential and commercial irrigation systems. We’re looking for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing quality work.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair irrigation issues, including valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, leaks, pressure problems, and coverage issues
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic system problems
• Program, adjust, and repair irrigation controllers, including Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, and similar systems
• Perform system inspections, seasonal adjustments, and efficiency checks
• Identify ways to improve water coverage and system performance
• Maintain accurate service notes
• Communicate professionally with the team and customers
• Work safely on residential and commercial properties

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on irrigation experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems
• Ability to program and adjust irrigation controllers
• Experience with valves, wiring, heads, leaks, pressure issues, and coverage problems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable working outdoors in Alabama weather
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work, including digging, bending, and kneeling
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, or similar systems
• Ability to read irrigation plans or zone layouts
• Irrigation certification, CIT, or related training
• Experience with 2-wire irrigation systems
