Production Group Leader (2nd shift)

Looking for a 2nd shift Supervisor or Team Leader to join this growing non-automotive manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Ensure that production targets are met within the specified time frame
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained
- Train and mentor new production employees
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production workflow
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
- Maintain accurate production records and reports

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment, including plastics extrusion, machining, press brake machines, etc.
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Experience with quality inspection and ensuring adherence to specifications
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
