Join our team!
We are seeking a dependable detail-oriented payroll & accounting clerk to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with payroll experience who is willing to assist with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Enter payroll and accounting data into company systems
- Maintain accurate employee and financial records.
- Onboarding new hires
- Administration of company benefits
- Process invoices, payments and other accounting transactions
- Reconcile reports and assist with month end tasks
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Payroll processing experience required
- Basic knowledge or bookkeeping experience
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft office applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Organized, dependable and able to manage multiple priorities
- Construction or building materials industry a plus but not required.
- Experience working with multiple companies under one umbrella
This position does not require an experienced accountant- we're looking for someone comfortable with payroll and data entry who can assist with day-to-day accounting functions.
