(Dauphin Island, AL): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen and dining operations for a confidential client. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness, adhere to health and safety standards, and provide general assistance in food service areas.




Essential Duties:
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, students, and coworkers
• Wash and sterilize food trays, dishes, utensils, and service equipment
• Clean, sanitize, and break down workstations and service areas
• Set up prep tables, service counters, steam tables, and hot wells
• Follow food safety procedures for storing and labeling food items
• Organize and clean kitchen, stockroom, dining area, and restrooms
• Receive, inspect, and store food and supply deliveries
• Take out trash and perform sweeping and mopping duties
• Clean and sanitize guest dining furniture and restrooms
• Service guest drink stations as needed
• Adhere to all hygiene and safety regulations and procedures
• Participate in annual events as requested, including Discovery Day
• Support other food service-related tasks as assigned




Requirements/Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Minimum of 6 months of food service experience preferred
• Food Handler’s Permit required within 6 months of hire
• Basic computer and timekeeping system skills
• Knowledge or willingness to learn health and food safety regulations
• Valid state driver’s license
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines




Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods
• Must reach overhead and bend/stoop to lift heavy items
• Use of hands in hot water and cleaning chemicals
• Exposure to varying temperatures (hot kitchens, cold coolers)
• Requires normal vision, hearing, and speech capabilities
• Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
