Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our Hospitalist team in Dothan, Alabama. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care within a supportive and collaborative hospital environment.

Job Setting:
Join a respected hospital system known for its commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. The hospital provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources, supported by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and care coordinators working together to optimize patient outcomes and ensure smooth transitions of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate care for patients admitted to the hospital
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate closely with consulting specialists and the broader care team
- Lead discharge planning and ensure safe transitions to outpatient care
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active or eligible for Alabama medical license
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to compassionate, evidence-based inpatient care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
- New residency graduates with strong training are encouraged to apply
