The Role

As General Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of daily operations—from people and performance to service and culture. You’ll be entrusted to run the pub as if it were your own: driving excellence, coaching leaders, and ensuring every guest leaves feeling seen, valued, and welcomed back.

This role is equal parts coach, operator, and culture-builder.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead with Purpose: Inspire, train, and empower your team to deliver genuine hospitality rooted in care, respect, and excellence.

• Operate with Excellence: Oversee daily service, financial performance, scheduling, and operational standards.

• From-Scratch Focus: Uphold the integrity of our from-scratch kitchen and craft bar program, ensuring consistent quality and creativity.

• Hospitality Champion: Embody and teach the principles of Unreasonable Hospitality—anticipating needs and creating moments guests will never forget.

• Develop Leaders: Build a strong pipeline of GMs, AGMs, and hourly leaders through intentional coaching and accountability.

• Community Connection: Strengthen Avenue Pub’s presence in the local community through partnerships, events, and authentic engagement.

• Drive Results: Manage labor, food, and beverage costs while leading your team to exceed sales and service goals.
