Job Summary v Working as the Regional Vice President, you are responsible for providing challenge and satisfaction in order to positively influence a Regional team of EVS professionals. You will plan objectives for your region and ensure management is in compliance with corporate, regional and financial goals. You will be responsible for the overall operation, growth and profitability of the region. Reports to: Key Responsibilities: + Prepares own regional budget for approval; approves regional and account budgets; prepares variable budgets for sales and projected overhead increases + Ensures company capital assets are secured and maintained in first class working condition + Approves capital requests within budgeted levels + Ensures contract price adjustments are prepared by RDO promptly + Coordinates all regional surveys and participates as needed + Prepares all costing for new contracts; responsible for negotiating contract renewals + Maintains direct contact with hospital administration at least every three months + Ensures hospital priorities are defined and met + Attends Joint Review Committee three times per year + Entertains customers on at least an annual basis + Meets both companies and client's quality standards; ensures quality control systems and documentations are maintained + Recruits and trains Regional Director of Operations; assists in selection and training of Account Managers + Assists Regional and Account Managers to complete certificate programs + Ensures other subordinate levels also complete appropriate programs + Develops personnel at all subordinate levels + Negotiates labor disputes with unions assisted by HR Vice President or HR Director; assists HR Vice President in negotiating new labor agreements + Ensures corporate policies and procedures are adhered to in the division + Responsible for maintaining debtor levels at contracted levels + Negotiates with hospital on payment terms Qualifications: + BS Degree in Business Management, Health Care Administration or related field or equivalent related experience; Master's Degree or MBA preferred + Proven experience managing P&L budgets in EVS departments + Proven ability to manage a team of six or more director level or above team members + Ten years experience in healthcare EVS departments + 5 years experience in multi-unit healthcare support services management + Experience managing multi-unit EVS departments + Strong track record of client or customer satisfaction + Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and P&L driven environment + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + 80% travel required in this position + Must reside in or relocate to one of the following states: VA, TN, GA or NC + Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Apply to Crothall today!
