RCM Quality Specialist
The RCM Quality Specialist is responsible for performing quality assurance audits to ensure proper reimbursement, as well as preparing reports and reviewing trends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create, organize, and document department policies and processes for various needs within the RCM Department to facilitate operational excellence.
- Audit current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billing and collections operations.
- Generate financial data reports and communicate with the Finance department for processing of client management fees.
- Create monthly report cards and year over year comparisons for each client to communicate financial health of the practice.
- Coordinate the provision of training for new and existing billing staff on applicable operating policies, protocols, systems and procedures, standards, and techniques.
- Facilitate logistics and execution of new client onboarding to increase impact and retention.
- Research upcoming trends in the healthcare market and develop proactive plans for minimizing impacts on clients.
- Maintain library of information and tools related to documentation guidelines and coding.
- Position will work closely with RCM Leadership on projects as they arise.
- Monitor, identify and report trends based on data reviews.
- Work on special projects as assigned.

- Management reporting: 5 years (Required).
- Microsoft Excel: 5 years (Required).
- Financial report interpretation: 5 years (Required).
- Medical billing: 5 years (Required).
- Medical software: Epic, Nextgen, MDI, Caretracker.
