Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials in both Clinical Certification (CCC) and School-based SLP qualifications to support K-12 students in Birmingham, AL. This contract position covers the current school year (CSY), providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grades K-12.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, progress notes, and IEP data in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Certification in school-based Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a caseload effectively.
• Familiarity with state and federal educational regulations relating to speech therapy.
