THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a motivated, self-directed Outside Sales Representative to own and grow our client base in the Huntsville, Alabama market. This is a true combination role — you'll take ownership of an existing portfolio of established accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business throughout the territory.

Huntsville's strong Department of Defense and government contractor presence makes it a uniquely compelling market for Culton's capabilities. Experience navigating complex organizations, procurement environments, or DoD relationships is a genuine advantage here. The position is Huntsville-based with occasional travel to our Birmingham headquarters required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own and grow an existing book of business — these aren't cold leads, they're established relationships to build on
  • Prospect for and develop new client relationships through outreach, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct in-person sales calls and client meetings throughout the Huntsville territory
  • Identify client needs and recommend tailored custom solutions from Culton's full portfolio
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments including government contractors and DoD organizations
  • Build long-term relationships grounded in trust, service, and consistent results
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records
  • Collaborate with internal design and production teams in Birmingham to ensure flawless execution

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

  • Proven track record in outside sales or B2B sales
  • Strong prospecting skills and comfort managing both existing accounts and new business simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through on commitments
  • Valid driver's license and comfort with local travel throughout the Huntsville area

Bonus Points For:

  • Prior military service or direct experience working with Department of Defense organizations
  • Experience selling to or supporting government contractors, especially large or complex accounts
  • Familiarity with navigating procurement processes and multi-stakeholder buying environments
  • Background selling custom, creative, or high-value project-based solutions

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

  • Full-time position based in Huntsville, Alabama
  • Competitive compensation structure — base + commission or commission-focused, depending on experience
  • Clear path for long-term growth with a stable, expanding company
  • Occasional travel to Culton Companies headquarters in Trussville, Alabama
