Position Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operations of DevSecOps infrastructure tools in a mission-critical cybersecurity environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong Linux administration skills, a background in cloud and automation, and a passion for integrating and maintaining secure infrastructure.

The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in deploying, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure, supporting continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and automating operations to enhance security, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, test, certify, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure tools , operating systems, and dependencies.

• Administer Linux-based servers and support a dynamic, secure environment.

• Deploy and configure services using infrastructure-as-a-service providers (e.g., AWS).

• Debug and optimize cluster-based computing architectures .

• Use scripting or programming (Python, Bash, etc.) to automate processes and solve operational challenges.

• Install, configure, and manage open-source monitoring and logging tools.

• Integrate third-party components and develop custom capabilities to enhance infrastructure.

• Conduct operations and maintenance (O&M) activities including patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable system deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years of DevOps or systems engineering experience.

• Proficiency in Linux-based environment administration .

• Hands-on experience testing, implementing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure hardware/software for cybersecurity.

• Experience developing, modifying, and maintaining applications, software, or utility programs for cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate

• Experience with:

  • Automation and CI/CD pipeline management

  • Splunk, Oracle/SQL platforms, and Python scripting

  • Integrating third-party components, process improvements, and automating O&M tasks
