Position: Fire Sprinkler Designer

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems design, with NICET certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for various buildings and structures
* Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
* Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes and sprinkler head requirements
* Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications
* Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions
* Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals
* Provide technical support during installation and commissioning

Qualifications:

* NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design
* Proficiency in CAD software
* Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
