We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Designer with 10+ years of related industry experience . The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in piping and equipment design for retrofit, environmental, and new generation projects within the power generation or heavy industrial sector. This role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership in multi-discipline design teams, and proficiency in 3D modeling and piping system layouts.

• Develop and produce 3D piping and equipment designs for retrofit, environmental, and new generation projects.

• Prepare 2D orthographic and isometric drawings, P&IDs, pipe support designs, and 3D models .

• Work collaboratively with engineers and designers across multiple disciplines to ensure safe, effective, and efficient designs .

• Apply knowledge of applicable codes and standards to all design deliverables.

• Conduct field data collection and site visits to support design development.

• Prepare material take-offs , and assist in the sizing and selection of piping components .

• Provide technical leadership by guiding and coordinating multi-discipline design teams .

• Review and contribute to the development of general arrangement drawings and overall project layouts.

• Perform design checking to ensure compliance with quality standards, constructability, and project requirements.

• progressive experience in mechanical piping design, with emphasis on power generation or heavy industrial facilities (new construction and retrofit).

• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools for piping system layout and design.

• Experience with AutoPLANT and/or AVEVA design tools (preferred).

• Demonstrated ability in producing 2D orthographic and isometric drawings, P&IDs, pipe supports, and 3D piping/equipment models .

• Solid understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices for piping system design.

• Proven ability to lead multi-discipline technical teams on complex projects.

• Strong skills in design verification and quality review .

• Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting & Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 10+ years of mechanical piping design experience in power generation or similar heavy industrial environments.

• Advanced knowledge of piping system components, layouts, and construction practices .

• Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
