Retirees of the Texas Teachers Retirement System (TRS) may apply. Consistent with district policy SD-7.17 “Employment of Retirees,” selected applicants are responsible for reimbursing the district, through payroll deduction, for the current rate of all TRS pension or TRS Care surcharges. Description/Notes:This position is located at the Bartlett Unit, Bartlett, Tx.
Primary Purpose: Instruct adult incarcerated students in the technical and soft skills needed to gain entry-level employment. Direct instruction to explore different career pathways while building on important soft skills, critical thinking, employability skills, effective communication, and problem solving skills needed to obtain employment pre-reentry. Qualifications:Edducation/Certification/Experience:
High School Diploma from an accredited high school, or hold GED equivalent. Five years full-time, wage-earning experience in construction or a related field within the last ten years. Thirty semester hours from an accredited college, university, or technical school may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis with a maximum substitution of four years. *Windham School District must be able to issue a statement of qualification verifying work experience. Salary Range: Based on Experience:
V0-20: 58,356 - 81,888 yearly
