Position Summary
The Call Center Operator is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and serving as the first point of contact for patients. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound calls in a professional, courteous manner
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments
• Communicate clinic policies, preparation instructions, and appointment details
• Route calls to the appropriate department or provider
• Handle patient concerns with empathy and escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Accurately document all patient interactions and encounters

Qualifications

• Previous medical call center or healthcare office experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and basic computer systems
• Knowledge of insurance verification is a plus
