Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with significant cognitive impairments preferred
• Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instructional approaches for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate with an instructional team
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student
• Manage a caseload of 12 students, ensuring tailored support and progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary team members
