We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to transport freight safely and efficiently. This role involves operating commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and customers to provide timely delivery and quality service.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks to transport across designated routes
- Ensure safety compliance with all federal and state regulations
- Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal condition
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit
- Manage delivery schedules to meet timely arrivals
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Provide professional customer service at all delivery points
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in truck driving
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle inspection and basic maintenance
- Strong communication skills
- Proven customer service abilities
