Staff Accountant

Position Title:  STAFF ACCOUNTANT-MONTGOMERY, AL 

Salary: $60,000-$70,000

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Audit General Ledger entries for all branches
• Audit Balance Sheet Accounts
• Track and Followup on ICR’s
• Perform an occasional ICR
• Training/reviewing policies to make sure everyone is doing the reconciliations and entries correctly
• Reviewing Reconciliations
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Two to three (2-3) years general ledger experience required (defined as: journal entries, account reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, GAAP accounting) preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Outlook
• J.D. Edwards, SAP, or equivalent softwareAccuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
• Strong reasoning and analytical skills
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize
• Strongly preferred: Business Objects or equivalent reporting
