Pharmacy Technician

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Birmingham, Alabama! This role is on site/in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration: **Type:** Four-month contract with opportunity for extension **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm **Pay:** $23.00 to $25.00 an hour **Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:** · Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels · Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery · Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary · Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines) · Other duties as assigned **Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:** · HS Diploma or GED · Active and good standing pharmacy technician license in Alabama · Prior pharmacy/shipping experience preferred **Why work for Adecco?** · Weekly Pay · 401(k) Plan · Skills Training · Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
