CNC Programmer ( Mastercam Focus)

Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing precise and efficient CNC programs to support our machining operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Mastercam, capable of reading complex blueprints, and experienced in working closely with machinists and production staff to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for milling and/or turning operations.

• Review blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.

• Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds to ensure quality and productivity.

• Verify programs through simulations and test runs, making adjustments as needed.

• Collaborate with machinists and production teams to resolve setup or machining challenges.

• Maintain organized and accurate program documentation and revision control.

• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure dimensional accuracy.

• Support process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed to support production.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Mastercam (required).

• Experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.

• Hands-on knowledge of CNC machining and setup processes.

• Familiarity with CAD files and basic design adjustments when needed.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality.

• Effective communication and teamwork in a production environment.

Pay range will vary depending upon experience $21.00 - $26.00
