Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry I professional to join our team in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This entry-level position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing quality service to our internal teams and clients.
- Accurately input and update data into the company database and management systems
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
- Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies
- Support the insurance processing team with various administrative tasks
- Perform quality checks on entered data to ensure compliance with internal standards
- Stay informed about company policies and procedures related to data entry and insurance processes
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of insurance concepts and terminology is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with data management software is preferred
