**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for welding kits on heavy equipment and tractors. You will read blueprints to tack parts together and perform all welding using MIG, tack, and robotic techniques. **Responsibilities** + Weld kits on heavy equipment and tractors using MIG welding techniques. + Read and interpret blueprints and AWS Weld Symbols to tack parts together accurately. + Perform welding tasks using MIG, tack, and robotic welding. + Fit and fabricate welded parts or metal. + Grind parts and perform metal preparation. **Essential Skills** + 1-3+ years of experience performing MIG welding. + 1-3+ years of experience reading and interpreting industrial blueprints and AWS Weld Symbols. + Proficiency in MIG welding and blueprint reading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1-2+ years of experience in flux core, TIG, or stick welding. + 1-2+ years of experience fitting and fabricating welded parts or metal. + Ability to read and use a tape measure. + 1-2+ years of experience grinding parts and performing metal prep. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a stable work environment with a laid-back atmosphere and supportive management. **Work Environment** Experience a laid-back work environment with minimal micromanagement, where organization is key. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trussville, AL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
