**Position Overview:**
As an Outside Parts Salesperson, you will be responsible for generating sales and building relationships with clients in the automotive industry. Your primary focus will be to identify customer needs, provide solutions, and promote our extensive range of parts and accessories.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Conduct regular visits to client locations to promote products and services.
- Prepare and present sales proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer support.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to showcase our products and network with potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the automotive or parts industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- High school diploma required; a degree in business or related field is a plus.
