Facilities Maintenance Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift

• Performs preventative and routine maintenance on company vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.

• Performs basic diagnostics to identify the source of trouble and makes necessary adjustments to equipment for safe and efficient operation.

• Ensures proper and accurate documentation of all maintenance performed, completes reports in writing and electronically.

• Diagnose and repair equipment, including liquid propane, gas, and diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, lifting systems, etc.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent, College preferred, or Trade or Vocational School graduate.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working on diesel, electrical, and liquid LPG fuel forklifts, diagnosing mechanical problems, repairs, and equipment rebuilds

• 3+ years of hands-on experience performing vehicle/forklift repair/maintenance.

• Knowledge of the use and operation of testing equipment, gauges, and tools associated with vehicle troubleshooting and repairs

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
