Description We are looking for a skilled Dispatcher to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama. As part of this Contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless coordination of logistics and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities: - Manage and dispatch service calls efficiently to ensure timely responses and resolutions. - Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics. - Utilize computer-aided dispatch systems to track and update job statuses in real-time. - Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and promptness. - Monitor schedules and adjust assignments to optimize operations and meet deadlines. - Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and service performance. - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all dispatch operations. - Provide updates to management regarding operational challenges and successes. - Support other dispatch-related tasks as needed to maintain smooth workflow. Requirements - Proven experience in dispatching or a related role within logistics or customer service. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse audiences. - Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch systems and other relevant software. - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address operational challenges quickly. - Knowledge of logistics coordination and scheduling principles. - Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting. - Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
