Substitute Teacher – Albertville City Schools (Alabama)
Spur, a digital staffing agency, is seeking reliable and dedicated Substitute Teachers for Albertville City Schools. We offer full-time and on-demand opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with students, and can maintain a professional demeanor in the classroom. Substitutes must adhere to school policies and be available for on-call assignments . Some opportunities may be available outside regular school hours.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans and assign classwork/homework
- Maintain classroom discipline and control
- Take attendance per school procedures
- Set up basic technology for instruction
- Create daily reports for the classroom teacher
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00)
- Must acquire a Substitute License ($38.00)
- Required online training
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be 18 or Older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED document
- Prior experience working with children preferred
Compensation & Schedule
- $15.00 per hour
- Available to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (varies by location)
