This contract assignment for a Speech-Language Pathologist spans the full academic year from August 2026 through May 2027, working with a diverse caseload of students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Qualifications:

• Valid ALSDE Speech-Language Pathologist certificate required
• Completion of background check through ALSDE
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, supporting PreK–12 populations
• Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to a diverse student body

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across all grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Evaluate students’ needs and document progress toward goals using best practices
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
• Participate in team meetings, assessments, and campus-based activities as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state regulations and ethical standards
• Promote a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
