Job Duties:
- Directing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for tax planning and reporting, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage all banking and cash management functions including ensuring cash resources are available for daily operations and business development, maximizing return on assets, managing outside banking, deposit, lending, equity and shareholder relationships
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the fiscal function and performance of the organization.
- Implementing strategic, operational and financial strategies to grow revenues, contain costs, and maintain the highest level of clinical quality care
- Preparing price proposals and cost volumes
- Review and negotiation of terms and conditions for new contracts
- Supporting DCAA & DCMA audits, compliance, and business system reviews
- Ensure contract compliance and contract administration; develop initiatives to increase profitability and cash; establish and maintain excellent customer relations, both internally and externally; and develop business strategies for new business opportunities.
- Advise management of contractual rights, obligations and risks.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years' experience directly managing prime contracts with the Department of State and/or Department of Defense.
- Experience with QuickBooks, experience with eFAACT Timekeeping system is a plus
- Expertise in FAR and DFARS.
- Experience with varying contract types: fixed-price, cost plus, cost-reimbursable, time and material and incentive type contracts is required.
- Secret Security Clearance is a plus
