Building Maintenance Assistant / Handyman

$16.00/Hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Mobile, AL

We're seeking a dependable Building Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and operating smoothly. If you're handy with repairs, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in your work, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Complete general building repairs and maintenance
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs
• Replace lights, ceiling tiles, door hardware, and fixtures
• Assemble furniture and equipment as needed
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Help maintain the appearance of the building and surrounding property
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

We're Looking For Someone With

• Experience in building maintenance, apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, handyman work, facilities, or property maintenance
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently
• Good attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors
