Center for Balance and Rehabilitation is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Mobile, Alabama!
We are a locally owned outpatient physical therapy practice specializing in vestibular rehabilitation, balance disorders, pelvic health, and orthopedic care. Our mission is to provide exceptional patient care while creating a welcoming environment for every patient who walks through our doors.
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative, front desk, or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Experience with medical scheduling or insurance verification is a plus
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
- Assist with patient intake paperwork and documentation
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical record system
- Coordinate with therapists and providers to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative and office tasks as needed
