What We Look For In a NAPLEX Tutor

• Advanced Test Mastery: Deep knowledge of NAPLEX examination content areas covering pharmacotherapy and clinical sciences, drug information and literature evaluation, medication safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacy calculations. Ability to explain drug interaction mechanisms, therapeutic drug monitoring, medication error prevention, and biostatistics interpretation while preparing pharmacy graduates for national licensure.
• Strategic Test‑Taking & Problem‑Solving: Skilled at teaching clinical scenario analysis, drug therapy evaluation, and calculation‑based problem solving for NAPLEX examination. Guides students through analyzing patient medication profiles, selecting appropriate drug therapy, performing pharmacokinetic calculations, evaluating drug information resources, and identifying medication safety concerns. Emphasizes clinical decision‑making and connecting pharmacological knowledge to patient‑centered pharmacy practice.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with NAPLEX competency statements and common challenges such as pharmacotherapy breadth across disease states, pharmacy calculation accuracy, and integrating clinical guidelines with patient‑specific factors. Adapts instruction using NAPLEX practice question banks, drug therapy review materials, and clinical case analysis to support PharmD graduates preparing for national pharmacy licensure.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
