Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and:
- 8 years of experience (Bachelor's)
- 6 years of experience (Master's)
- 5 years of experience (PhD)
- Strong technical presentation skills
- Experience estimating, planning, and scheduling algorithm development and analysis work for technical teams
- Recent and extensive experience with:
- MATLAB
- Python
- Proven ability to:
- Rapidly learn new concepts
- Develop, prototype, and evaluate complex algorithms
- Strong background in mathematics or science
- Ability to work in an on-site / closed-area environment
- Active DoD Secret clearance required
- Experience supporting large-scale defense systems or similar environments
- Advanced degree in:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Experience with:
- Unix/Linux operating systems
- Planning and scheduling algorithms
- Sensor modeling, communication modeling, or system-level modeling
- Command & control or fire control systems
- Experience with Linux, scripting, and operational environments
- Clearance: Secret
The selected engineer will support advanced modeling and simulation efforts focused on algorithm development, system modeling, and performance analysis within a complex engineering environment.
