Location: Dothan, AL
Bob Woodall Commercial Air Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company that values professionalism, integrity, and high-quality workmanship in the HVAC and commercial air systems industry.

What You’ll Do:
- Install, fabricate, and repair HVAC sheet metal ductwork and accessories
- Must have at least 2-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and shop drawings
- Work independently or as part of a team on commercial and residential job sites
- Perform work in various environments, including rooftops, attics, crawl spaces, and elevated platforms
- Ensure work is completed to code, within deadlines, and to company standards
- Coordinate with other trades and maintain strong communication with project managers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the sheet metal trade (HVAC-specific experience preferred)
- Ability to fabricate and install tie-ins, transitions, offsets, and other duct fittings
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and layout work
- Willingness to adhere to company values, safety standards, and job site procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work on elevated surfaces
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
