Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a dynamic role supporting a busy Radiology Diagnostics unit, utilizing your expertise as a Radiologic Technologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for a candidate looking to build on their imaging skills and gain valuable training coverage experience in a supportive clinical environment.
Schedule:
- 3x12 hour shifts (Day shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 7:00am – 7:30pm)
- Flexible start date options: 05/11/2026 or 05/26/2026
- No weekend shifts; on-call requirement to be discussed with the manager
- 8-week contract, with potential to extend to 10 weeks
Qualifications:
- Current and active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- At least 2 years of experience as an X-ray or Radiology Tech, preferably within the last 3 years
- Minimum 1 year of travel assignment experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in both Operating Room and general radiographic procedures
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Support operating room cases and adapt to high-volume needs
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures
- Work collaboratively with providers, nurses, and technologists within the radiology department
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through professional, empathetic interaction
