The successful candidate will be able to :
A) Perform professional medical assistant duties when called upon including:
- Although the candidate’s primary responsibility will be medical assisting, they will also be expected to support administrative front desk duties such as reception, patient check-in and check-out, payment collection, computer tasks, and insurance-related work. The candidate must be highly capable in medical assisting when called upon and demonstrate competency in the following:
- Assisting with in-office medical office procedures
- Assisting with taking patients to treatment rooms, performing medical assistant casting, medical office organization, setting up and cleaning up from in-office procedures, performing laser, shock wave, changing medical dressings and entering data into the EHR and other MA duties.
B) Perform front office reception work will include the following qualifications:
- High interpersonal customer service capability when answering and managing telephone calls
- High proficiency with computer data entry of insurance claims, assistance in managing rejection of claims and posting claims and other medical office insurance duties
- Ability to multi-task managing front desk check-out and check-in of patients and effectively managing paper flow in an appropriate manner
- Strong Ability to collect money at the front desk at the time that it is due to preserve business revenue effectively in a kind but firm manner
- Perform other general front office duties including scanning paper and electronic data into Electronic Health Record including copies of xrays and other medical images and create documents, reports, proposals and other computer clerical duties with a high level of computer proficiency
Requirements: The candidate must be a quick learner and have 3-5 years experience in a medical office setting, excellent computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills, have a desire to make more money and develop themselves more than the status quo. We want " leaders" who want to develop and improve a work area. We need highly organized individuals who are not afraid to ask for money, always seeking for improvements and help a business and thereby themselves grow to the next level.
