Facilities Coordinator

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for performing routine building maintenance and repairs for two office locations. This position includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and functional work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of two office locations, including building systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Complete general building repairs and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
  • Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, fixtures, furniture, and building structures as needed.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five (5) years of facilities maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, sit, stand, and walk as required to perform job duties.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Typical start time: 8:00 AM
  • Typical end time: 5:00 PM
