Clinical Administrative Assistant

NHS Management is seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our Training Center in Birmingham, Alabama . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, is highly organized, and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in clinical settings.

This position plays a key role in supporting clinical education, onboarding, and training activities that directly impact the quality of care delivered across our facilities.

What You’ll Do

1. Provide administrative support for clinical training and education programs
2. Coordinate schedules, classes, meetings, and training events
3. Maintain accurate training records, rosters, and documentation
4. Assist with onboarding and compliance-related paperwork
5. Prepare materials for training sessions (sign-in sheets, packets, certificates, etc.)
6. Communicate professionally with clinical staff, instructors, and leadership
7. Manage emails, phone calls, and general office correspondence
8. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies

Required

1. Strong administrative and organizational skills
2. Experience working in a healthcare, clinical, or regulated environment
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. High attention to detail and follow-through
6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
7. Professional demeanor and dependable attendance

Preferred

1. Healthcare administrative experience (LTC, rehab, hospital, or clinic)
2. Familiarity with training programs, onboarding, or compliance documentation
3. Experience supporting nurses, clinical educators, or leadership teams
