Licensed Practical Nurse - Med Surg (PRN)
The Staff Pad is partnering with Russellville Hospital, located in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg (PRN) for a dynamic inpatient care team.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a LPN who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and flexibility while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives every day.
This position works collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care, promote positive outcomes, and ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
What You’ll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes in status
- Develop, implement, and revise individualised patient care plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and ongoing care
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and infection control
What We’re Looking For
- Active LPN license in the state of Alabama
- At least 3 months of nursing experience required
- Acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
