Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work full-time in a high school resource classroom setting serving grades 9-12. This contract position begins on August 6th and continues through the full school year. The teacher will manage a caseload of 15-20 students, providing tailored support and instruction to meet individual education plans (IEPs) and promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction within a resource classroom environment for high school students (grades 9-12).
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress.
• Assess student performance and adjust teaching strategies to acmodate diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records and ply with school and district policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with high school students (grades 9-12) in a resource room or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and IEP development.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 15-20 students effectively.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
