Synthetics Production 1

Full-time M-F 8:00a-5:00p

The Synthetics Production 1 role is designed to manufacture polyester web slings, polyester round slings, twin path slings and other miscellaneous synthetic material slings. This job requires a commitment to safety, quality, and concern for the customer’s needs in accordance with all company and ISO 9001 standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Properly job in and job out of work orders for job tracking.
• Measure and cut synthetic webbing / tubing as required per each work order.
• Sew polyester web, twin path, and other synthetic slings per production standards.
• Run polyester and Kevlar yarns per production standards.
• Print tags and attach to slings.
• Inspect slings for defect or deviation per Quality Control standards.
• Identify and report non-conformities, contributing to corrective and preventive actions as part of continual improvement.
• Collaborate with the Synthetic Team Lead to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
• Keep focused on safety, quality, and timeliness.
• Compliance with all company policies, including Drug-free workplace.

Qualifications and Competencies

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• No experience required.

Skills :

• Ability to read tape measures and use basic tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.

Competencies :

• Attention to detail, with strict adherence to production standards.
• Ability to work within a team to achieve quality and time objectives.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand / sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Push/Pull synthetic material.

Tools/Equipment :

• Industrial sewing machine.
• Hot knife.
• Scissors and or knifes.
• Tape Measure
