Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment is for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a full-time, onsite position near Hanceville, AL, with potential flexibility for virtual services toward the close of the school year.

You’ll be joining an environment that values collaboration and professional growth, where your skills will directly impact students across a to-be-determined caseload and grade range. Candidates are encouraged to share their preferred age group or setting, which will be considered when building the final assignments. Interviews are conducted conveniently through Zoom with the student services director.

Key Qualifications:

• Current AL SLP License and TCERT certification required
• SLP-CCC and previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to assess, plan, and implement effective speech-language interventions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and commitment to supporting a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and prepare documentation per district guidelines
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and training for staff and families
